“We were keen to progress with Visibility Co because they brought a combination of leadership, strategy and communications. We were at a point where we couldn’t articulate for ourselves exactly what we needed. We needed hand-holding to put more definition around our strategy and how that linked to leadership roles.“
Fire to Flourish was at an important moment in its development. It was facing challenges across a range of stakeholder groups as the program expanded. There was a need to bolster its strategic foundations.
The organisation needed to clarify and evolve its message. So, there was an urgent need to strengthen its communications.
Meanwhile, things were changing. The organisation’s CEO, Briony Rogers, needed a responsive partnership to complement the internal team.
Briony Rogers, CEO of Fire to Flourish, recalls;
“We were going through a big period of change and disruption. We needed everyone to be able to work in an emergent setting and to have a relationship where we could navigate that together. We had to decide what work was most effective, when, and why.”
Visibility Co. tailored a multi-pronged program to address the various challenges the organisation faced.

In addition to the founders, Julia and Sarah, this included other impact strategists, writers, and experts on communications implementation. Together, this team had all the necessary skills to help the organisation tackle a range of challenges.
An agile delivery style included weekly stand-ups, monthly reports and quarterly strategy and planning meetings to decide priorities.
Briony reflects on the gains for the organisation:

First, we get clear on the why and how that links to strategy and the roles of different people. It’s been a warm, collaborative and supportive experience where it felt safe to bring big and small challenges to be workshopped.”
Over the course of one to two years, the collaboration moved through the planned phases.
Fire to Flourish has gained visibility and profile through the process. This has led to greater recognition, which has boosted employee engagement and attracted new people to the organisation. There have been important internal celebrations, taking stock of how far the organisation has come.
